António A. Guimarães

Partner

António A. Guimarães has been a partner at HAAG since 2013, and before then worked for the firm as a trainee lawyer from 2010.

Between 2014 and 2017 he was posted in Angola by HAAGNET Legal, where he had a liaison and coordination role working with the local partner, with a focus on international Clients.

António's primary areas of practice are: employment, commercial and company law, tax law and international investment law.

Academic Qualifications

  • Law Degree at the Law School of the University of Lisbon (2009).
  • Erasmus at the Facoltà di Giurisprudenza, Alma Mater Studiorum, Università di Bologna, in Italy (2008-2009);
  • Post-graduate course in Legal and Forensic Sciences at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon (2009-2010);
  • Post-graduate course in Tax Law, with specialization in Advanced Business Taxation, at the Lisbon Law School of Católica University (2018-2019).
